For years, I have approached landscapes not as physical locations, but as emotional states. In this work, the hurricane becomes a metaphor for moments of uncertainty, transformation, and tension.
Built through layers, traces, and veils, the painting explores the fragile space between calm and chaos, between certainty and doubt. What interests me is not the violence of the storm, but the brief silence that exists at its center—a moment of apparent stillness where the force remains present.
“The Eye of the Hurricane” reflects on those moments when we believe we have left chaos behind, only to discover that we are still within it.
